The dry leaves are crispy green with some silver tips that gives an infusion of soft green leaves that has herbal aroma . The liquor is shiny jade yellow with flavours of sweet vegetables. Unlike the other green teas , Darjeeling Green tea does not have the typical astringency that is associated with green tea. Darjeeling Green tea has a full body flavour with sweet vegetable finish and a smooth taste.
To Brew: One teaspoon of the tea in 200ml of water heated to 80 to 85 deg Celsius . Steep for 2 mins for a brew that is not too bitter . If you want it stronger than you can extend the steep time to 4/5 mins.
