Darjeeling second flush tea with medium-sized, evenly graded copper brown leaves gives an infusion that  is neat and bright copper coloured with fruity fragrance. The liquor is warm red with citric fruity and honeyed undertone.

 

To Brew: One teaspoon of the tea in 200ml of water heated to 90 to 95 deg Celsius . Steep for 3-5 mins .

Description

Second Flush teas  are harvested between April and May, sometimes even June. The extended time before plucking allows the leave to take on a notably more mature and overall well-rounded flavour with slightly fruity undertones that depends on the different estates where they are grown.  Some say Second Flush teas offer less astringency and make excellent afternoon Teas.
These teas are  described as having Muscatel flavours – which means a distinct sweet flavour.
